Progress from level 1

RYA Intermediate Windsurf Instructor

Enables you to work as a recognised RYA instructor

Our Intermediate Windsurfing Instructor course is a four or five-day course which aims to progress the level one instructor to be able to coach students up to planing skills. Candidates will become fully conversant with the fastfwd coaching model and its application to skills. Assessment is continuous throughout the course. Candidates will develop their personal coaching styles and breakdown skills; you will develop your theoretical knowledge, communication and presenting skills. Intermediate instructors will get either a ‘planing’ or ‘non-planing’ endorsement depending on their personal sailing competency level. Successful completion of this course will provide you with a professional qualification enabling you to work in the UK or abroad as a recognised RYA instructor.
