Designed by local architects Campbell & Co, the modernisation includes:

1. A new decked area with seating overlooking the lake

2. A new and improved cafe

3. Timber cladding to transform the existing buildings

4. Additional changing facilities

5. An adventure playground

6. Improved lakeside infrastructure for staging activities

7. Landscaping to zone the distinctive areas around the lake

Upgrades will be staggered in phases to minimise disruption on site, with landscaping already underway and works on the decking and cladding due to start shortly.

The second stage of the plans will be the adventure playground and changing facilities which should be completed before the summer holidays commence.

The works on site will be managed by the experienced team at Caterham based Berry Landscapes, who have started by planting a new hawthorn hedgerow creating new wildlife habitats and also creating a safe enclosed space for kids attending Summer Camps.

“We would like to say a huge thank you to our architects, Campbell and Co Architects, who have done a fantastic job turning our ideas into plans, whilst guiding us through the planning process. Jamie and Chris's close involvement and shared enthusiasm for our project have been invaluable” - Team Aqua Sports.

Open five days a week during March (Wed>Sun) and seven days from 1st April, Aqua Sports has a full schedule of on and off the water activities for newbies and seasoned enthusiasts alike. From land-based fitness and wellbeing classes, to drop-in watersport taster sessions, sunrise swimming and sunset SUPing, alongside seasonal kids’ holiday courses and camps, plus more! There is something for everyone to enjoy with minimal disruption from the scheduled works.
