The second step of learning to sail. If your child has done their Dinghy Beginner then they’ll be ready to become a Dinghy Improver. Perfect for packaging with the Dinghy Beginner in one fun-packed week.
Dinghy Improvers continue to sail in paired crews, learning how to sail a triangular course and sail unassisted. Dinghy Improvers will improve both skills and knowledge as they continue discovering the skill of dinghy sailing, including basic sailing skills, rope work, and collision avoidance. This fun packed training will provide children with plenty of water time and theory knowledge to successfully achieve the RYA Stage 2. It is recommended that students have attended the Beginner Training Camp or have had some practice sessions at Junior Club after a Beginner Compact Course.
